Web14 Sep 2009 · The install is pretty straitforward but the superior (top) bolts that connect the shackle to the leaf spring will have to be replaced with bolts about one inch shorter. Also, on the driver's side, a reciprocating saw will have to be used to cut out the top bolt as Ford stuck a frame dampener right next to where the bolt would come out naturally.
