Ram usage not showing in task manager
Webb11 nov. 2024 · I have 8gb ram, but it is being used somewhere I cannot find. Task manager and resource monitor show very high usage (80s and up), but the programs listed are using almost no ram. I have an example in the pictures below. After getting the pictures below, I opened one more tab in chrome (for a total of 2) and chrome closed on its own. The thing using up the most memory is Firefox at 500,000 K, then Winamp at 181,000 K and everything below that not very much at all. It just doesn't add up to six gigs, not even close, yet Task Manager tells me it's at 98-100% physical memory usage. Webb5 mars 2024 · Resolution.
