I liked the look of the model and as i travelled a lot on the LNER in the 60's behind Deltic's I thought I would treat myself to a British Brand for a Change. Has anyone have this model yet. It’s its weight that allowed our sample to haul prototype-length trains on Tony Wright’s ‘Little Bytham’ with ease, meanwhile operation is exceptionally smooth. Big deflectors were present on the A1/1, A2/1 and A2/3. If you're referring to the A2/1 then the Hornby model is not the best starting point.
